Britannic Explorer, A Belmond train, is a new part of the Belmond Family, who are custodians, owners, onboard operators and maintainers for a wide variety of historical and heritage coach rolling stock. These cover a wide range of rail history, and provide a unique and classic experience of rail travel from a different period of time.
Our vehicles range from the 1920s with the early Pullman coaches, MK1 Pullman vehicles of the 1950s through to the modern 1970 and 80s of Mk2 & MK3 coaches. The maintenance of these varied and unique vehicles to the exemplary standard expected, comes with many challenges, of which obsolescence and sustainability are just two of those seen.
