UK railway suppliers are invited to apply to join a Department for Business and Trade (DBT) and Railway Industry Association (RIA) rail trade mission to Ireland taking place on 25 – 26 January 2024 in Dublin.

The programme will include 1:1 meetings with officials from the National Transport Authority, Transport Infrastructure Ireland and Irish Rail, and a site visit may be included in the programme.

The mission is open to all UK companies and after registering interest on the RIA portal, companies will be required to complete a short application form, with a link to this emailed to them once registered.   Based on this completed information, companies will be pre-selected by clients, and informed of their status on the mission.

The mission is only open to UK registered companies:

  • Limited to 2 delegates per company, 2nd delegate is at no cost.
  • Participation in the trade mission will cost £250 + VAT, per company (not per delegate)
  • Payment will only be invoiced once appointments are confirmed.
  • Mission delegates will need to cover their own travel and subsistence costs to Dublin.
  • Mission registration closes to new applications at 18.00 on Tuesday 12 December, with the following online application form needing to be completed by 09.00 the following morning.
