The Modern Railways Expo is a new 2-day show which seeks to build on the success of the previous Modern Railways RVE event. The show will feature a number of themed areas for infrastructure, rolling stock, freight and more and will be hosted at the Milton Keynes Arena.
Rail Forum has three supply chain focussed activities planned over the two days.
Firstly we are delighted to be working with CrossTech – the company behind Hubble – which is the leading digital lineside inspection tool across Network Rail Routes. All users and potential users are invited to their inaugural user conference at the Modern Railways Expo. It is a chance to see some of the cutting edge examples of automated inspection not just from rail but beyond. Users can also help shape the Hubble 2023 roadmap and your Route’s needs.
Secondly we are delighted to host a presentation from Complete Cyber who will deliver an overview of the impact of regulation NIS-D and facilitation of progress on the Cyber Assurance Framework adoption by the Railway. They will also provide a brief overview of what is still lacking in Rail, how train operators and suppliers can work together to address these gaps, as well as touching on emerging technologies that are impacting our Industry.
Finally we will be joined by sustainable supply chain experts Denise Taylor from Wylde Connections and Mark Wood of Alliance Procurement Solutions. They will be available for individual drop in consultations on sustainability. From global trends and developing the business case for sustainability to reducing supply chain disruption and building resilience; our experts can provide some practical advice for businesses. This opportunity follows on from our online event on 20 October although you don’t need to have attended the online event to come along at the Expo.
The three sessions are scheduled as follows (exact times may be subject to change)
CrossTech : Hubble User Conference 11.00am – 12.00pm on 22nd
Sustainable Supply Chains : One to One Consultations 12.00pm until 2.30pm on 22nd
Railway Cybersecurity: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly 11.00am – 12.00pm on 23rd
