Currently there are over 205 railway opportunities valued at £ 230 billion, across Africa’s 50+ markets. The Department for International Trade has in the past successfully positioned the UK as an attractive infrastructure partner.

Now, the Department for International Trade (DIT) has created a unique offering which aims to guide UK suppliers approach by providing live insights, exclusive project research and 1-2-1 engagement with project owners in Africa.

Therefore support is provided to narrow the focus by understanding the business climate, such as the macro-economic, financial, political, regulatory, policy and competitive landscape.

It is within this context that DIT in collaboration with Rail Forum and Africa House have structured a unique three phase engagement plan;

Phase 1: Know the Region (Africa), 12th July 2022
