Decarbonising Transport Week 2024, 4/8 March, all online.
Decarbonising Transport Week is the UK’s official national awareness week and the biggest transport conference – back for year two. It brings together all the stakeholders needed to deliver the green transport we require to reach net zero by 2050. There are several sessions you can get involved with providing opportunity to hear from a wide range of experts sharing insight and commentary; from academics and scientists to policy influencers, trade associations and solution providers. In 2023, over 1,200 delegates joined the conference across the week. Learn more at www.decarbonisingtransportweek.com
Rail Forum is delighted to be supporting the week with our Decarbonising Transport – How Rail Can Contribute?
Hear from:
- Chris Swan, Rail Director at Tarmac (Chair of RFG and Rail Forum Director) who will discuss the role of freight in decarbonising transport and what this means for the supply chain
- Alasdair Reisner, CEO of CECA talking about how construction can adapt for a zero carbon future
- Patrick Davison of European Metal Recycling on how we can ensure consistency when it comes to recycling end of life assets
- Richard Hill, Level Crossing Manager, Network Rail who will update us on Network Rail’s approach to ‘Race to Zero’ and how the supply chain can get involved.
There will be plenty of opportunity for discussion and questions.
