The Birmingham Centre for Railway Research and Education (BCRRE) are delighted to be welcoming Neil Ovenden, Rail Partners and other speakers to this special event which will focus on working with Train Operating Companies (TOCs). This will be the 6th ‘Supporting the Rail Supply Chain Event’ series, which are proving popular with both delegates and speakers alike.
Delegates will have the opportunity to engage with Neil Ovenden, Head of Engineering at Rail Partners and learn how to work with Train Operating Companies (TOCs), and why this is different from working with Network Rail. We will also be joined by speakers from Train Operating Companies including Rob Cummings, from Northern Rail who will talk about innovation and working in this part of the rail sector. Richard Carr, RIA will discuss their recent report: The UK Rolling Stock Industry: Making 2023 the year of opportunity not crisis and Rail Forum and RBD Community will also be supporting the event.
This event is for any companies and stakeholders in the rail supply chain (large, small, start-up businesses) and those wanting to break into the rail sector. Our BCRRE events are informative and engaging. We actively encourage diversity and inclusion, and audience participation, so please come prepared with your questions for our speakers.
The doors will open at 11:00 for coffee and registration. A networking lunch is included. The event closes at 14:30.
RaisE Business Centre is the newly opened Rail Accelerator & Innovation Solutions hub for Enterprise, which is at the heart of the new Rail Village in Goole, East Yorkshire. The Rail Village Goole is also home to the Siemens Mobility £200m Train Building Facility which opens in early 2024 and the newly opened Siemens £7m Component Factory.
Tickets are free, simply sign up today! We look forward to seeing you there.
This event is being organised by Abi Broadley Consulting Ltd on behalf of BCRRE.
