There are a couple of last minute spaces for this years annual Beacon 5-a-side football tournament this year, co-sponsored by GB Railfreight, due to the all round success of this event over the last 2 years.
This tournament is being held in support of Railway Children, with a minimum £500 donation ‘entry’ fee per team. All your funds go directly to Railway Children.
The tournament will be held at Powerleague Shoreditch, Braithwaite Street, Off Bethnal Green Road, Shoreditch, London, E1 6GJ on Thursday 7th September 2023.
Timings – first kick offs approx 1pm with food and drink served during the day; there will be a bar open after the tournament finishes for those who want to stay on!
High-level details for the event:
- 5-a-side matches, maximum squad of 8 players.
- 1 member of the opposite sex playing on the pitch at all times.
- Number of matches and match length tbc dependent on number of teams entering.
- World Cup theme – teams will be assigned a country to represent.
- Group stages followed by knock-out rounds.
