Elaine is responsible for the day to day running of the Rail Forum including working with the Board to set strategic priorities. She has responsibility for maintaining strong relationships across government and for delivery of our sector deal activities.
Cat Appleby
Membership & Engagement Director
Cat has overall responsibility for ensuring our membership offer is regularly reviewed and developed so that it continues to meet members’ needs. She is also responsible for maintaining day to day contact with a designated group of our members and proactively supports the development and delivery of a range of member focussed events.
Dave Ellis
Engagement Manager
Dave is responsible for developing the relationship with, and providing support to, a designated group of Rail Forum members. He brings his unique combination of industry knowledge coupled with commercial acumen to his role. Dave also supports the team with event planning and delivery alongside other specific projects.
Jemma Smalls
Communications, Policy & Public Affairs Manager
Jemma leads on our external communications to members and on our policy and public affairs activity. She also supports our events with specific responsibility for hosting key stakeholder visits, roundtables and tours.
Karen Jackson
Events & Marketing Manager
Karen is responsible for managing our events programme, promoting the events and associated partnership opportunities to members and for supporting the delivery of some of our wider activities.
Laura May
Engagement Manager - Infrastructure
Laura is responsible for developing the relationship with, and providing support to, a designated group of infrastructure focussed Rail Forum members. Having been in the industry for over a decade, Laura’s experience will help deliver on specific projects and she will also support the team with event planning and delivery.
Robert Hodgson
Engagement Manager
Bob has many years of experience working in the rail supply chain. He supports the Rail Forum team on specific projects including our sector deal work and collaborative opportunities for members.
Sharon Brown
Rail Forum Administrator
Sharon supports the team on a part time basis with a broad range of critical administrative tasks that contribute to how we support our members.
Will Broad
Digital Marketing Executive
Will is responsible for developing our digital marketing strategy, including social media monitoring and production of campaigns to support event promotion and Rail Forum initiatives. He is also responsible for maintaining the Rail Forum website and developing relevant marketing materials.
