Since 2006, the UK Light Rail Conference has brought together participants from across the UK and around the world to share knowledge, experience and best practice in shaping the future of cities through investment in sustainable transport solutions.
This two-day congress showcases case studies of projects, products, initiatives and new technologies from around the world that are changing the way we think about urban mobility in the 21st Century.
Urban planning, climate change, alternative energy sources, finance, construction innovation, advanced materials and manufacturing processes, disruptive technologies, automation and the emergence of Smart Cities are all contributing to the way we think urban environments. Crucially, the growth in rail-borne solutions as a route to future-proofing cities now sits at the heart of many local and national policies around the world.
With parallel conference streams and around 50 interactive presentations and panel debates, the UK Light Rail Conference covers the latest developments in all these areas – as well as many more. With over eight hours of dedicated networking time, it also helps to form the relationships that are driving our sector forward.
