As you will be aware Jemma left us at the end of May and Sophia will be starting her maternity leave around the end of September. We are delighted to now announce two new appointments to the team replacing Jemma and providing cover for Sophia as follows:
Nathalie Hollingworth – Events and Communications Co-Ordinator
Nathalie will join the RFM team on 1st August, initially focussing on communications and then progressively picking up management of our events programme. Nathalie has significant experience in communications and PR, having worked with a number of well known brands in the past arranging launch and stakeholder events. Most recently she has undertaken assignments for Bowmer and Kirkland and the University of Nottingham. Whilst new to rail, Nathalie is keen to learn about our industry and is already an advocate of the important role that public transport plays now and can play in the future.
Cat Appleby – Membership Manager
Cat will join us on 1st September and probably needs little introduction to many of you. Cat’s previous roles have included most recently a period as Customer Accounts Director at Yellow Rail and prior to that she was an International Trade Advisor within the Department for International Trade, specialising in rail. Speaking about her appointment Cat said “I am very much looking forward to my new role. I know what an amazingly talented and diverse membership we have and feel very privileged that I get to work with these companies and support them moving forward”.
Cat will be working for RFM three days a week and will focus on membership issues including keeping in touch with member companies and developing our membership offer.
Elaine Clark, CEO RFM said; “I’m delighted that both Nathalie and Cat will be joining us and I think they will bring strong complimentary skills to the team. Whilst Sophia isn’t going anywhere just yet we do wish her all the very best as she looks forward to the birth of her baby in November.”
We are sure you will join us in welcoming both Nathalie and Cat to RFM and wishing them the best of luck in their new roles.
