The Data Protection Officer (DPO) course is relevant for those looking to play an active role in data management and the implementation of data protection policies, ensuring their organisation is compliant with the new standards. It will also be useful for students or others wishing to learn more about the implications of the new data protection regulations.

Sessions will focus on:
- Legal Module: with a focus on providing knowledge about the legal framework for data protection
- Technical, organisational and Impact Assessment: targeting technical aspects of data creation, management, storing, as well as the ability to devise data management strategies and evaluate the impact of policies
- Behavioural and Security: aimed at allowing participants to understand the impact of data in the behaviour of a given organisation, and to acquire the ability to manage the security-related aspects involved
