SMEs in Derby City wanting to invest in energy saving equipment are advised to get in touch with Derby City Council’s D2EE team to see if they qualify for a grant towards the project. The team has already given grants to over 140 companies across Derby and Derbyshire and has only a small number of grants still available (all grants for Derbyshire businesses have now been allocated). The team can help with independent energy advice and have a free support programme, for example if a grant is not suitable. See www.derby.gov.uk/d2ee for more information.
The D2EE project is part-funded by the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
