Rail Forum is delighted to announce the line-up for InfraTalk 2025, which features a fantastic selection of table hosts and an opening address by Sam Turner, Chief Financial Officer at East West Rail.
With increasing concerns about project affordability and recent research by the Infrastructure Client Group highlighting that rail projects have cost overruns of 43 percent, the opening address will inspire conversations on exploring the costs driving infrastructure projects, potential solutions, and critically, what we can do as an industry to change the affordability of projects.
InfraTalk 2025 will take place on Thursday 23rd January and will once again be held online using our innovative, virtual networking platform which allows delegates easy access to engage with key representatives from Tier 1’s across procurement, commercial and senior management teams.
The format promises a ‘pure networking’ environment for the railway infrastructure sector. InfraTalk brings clients, collaborators, contractors and supply chain together and focuses on barrier free networking – it’s engaging, immersive and effective.
InfraTalk is fantastic for developing new contacts, nurturing old, finding new opportunities, meeting collaboration partners, exploring new innovations and ideas, engaging with the supply chain, uncovering solutions and gaining industry intelligence.
Laura May, Engagement Manager at Rail Forum, said: “InfraTalk 2025 has a unique format that leads to great conversations. With no PowerPoints and no appointments, the barrier free networking opportunities are unmatched.
“We know the importance that infrastructure colleagues place on this event, and as CP7 slowly heats up, participants will find opportunities to speak with over 30 major project and Tier 1 organisations including a number from the Network Rail family including Innovation, East Midlands, Southern and Design for Reliability, providing ample opportunity to build contacts, knowledge and progress opportunities. We look forward to seeing you there!”
