Testing innovation is not easy. Indeed, it’s often easier to develop the idea than to apply it to the rail network in a test or demonstrator. But what if it wasn’t so difficult to do this?
This member-hosted networking event is in partnership with Porterbrook, will provide a range of considerations around the topic of testing rail innovation. We are thrilled to have the following expert speakers:
- Ian Evley, Innovate UK
- Alan Peters, Connected Places Catapult
- Sharon Odetunde, RSSB – discussing the future roadmap for testing and validation
- Scott Heath, Hitachi Rail
- Andy Pawley, Porterbrook
This networking event will provide members with an excellent opportunity to hear from keynote speakers, discuss over the lunch how innovation can be tested to support the development of national infrastructure and rail operations.
The event will conclude with a tour of the Long Marston site.
Please note that to take part in the tour you will require safety boots and Hi-Viz vest.
