The Department for Transport (DfT) Group and other key stakeholders are hosting an in-person VCSE Supplier Event at the Trades Hall in Glasgow on the 25th of September 2024 to provide VCSEs Suppliers with the opportunity to engage with senior representatives from across the Department. This is an excellent networking event and provides a fantastic opportunity to find out more about how you can get involved in working with the DfT Group.
The event will include:
- Address from Paul Rodgers, Commercial Director at DfT
- Update from Robert Vaughan, DfT SME Champion
- Update from VCSE Crown Representative Claire Dove CBE, Cabinet Office
- Presentation from Social Enterprise Scotland
- Keynote speaker from Scottish Government
- Networking with the Department for Transport, HS2 Ltd, Network Rail, National Highways and many more to enhance the transparency of pipeline information and innovation opportunities.
- Key suppliers sharing best practice on how to become a sub-contractor in the supply chain.
- Networking with Crown Commercial Service will provide details on the VCSE friendly frameworks available and how to enrol.
