During the period, a lot of research has been carried out and numerous conversations have been held, both with Network Rail and many contractors, to understand what services are available today, the price challenges they face and what issues are currently being experienced. Based on this, a turnkey solution was developed in direct response to this feedback.

The selection, procurement and installation of level crossings currently face a variety of problems such as different bidding solutions, numerous contractor pricing models, access and authorisation issues and ad hoc purchases of raw materials. The reality of CP7 includes cost challenges, an understaffed and overworked Works Delivery Group, peak contractor pricing for short notice works and challenged staffing schedules due to constant changes in programming. To address these challenges, we offer a new way of working that includes a comprehensive solution in one package.
