Section Bending

At Kloeckner, we offer a section bending service that allows for the creation of a wide variety of curved metal products. Whether you need curved beams or tubes for architectural structures or curved hollow sections for industrial applications, we have you covered.

We prioritise close collaboration with our customers to fully understand their specific requirements. This includes factors such as the desired bending radius, angle, and tolerances. Leveraging our expertise, we apply our skills and knowledge to deliver the precise curved metal sections you need.

Our section bending capabilities encompass a range of metal components, including tubes, flats, rounds, solid rounds, solid squares, rolled steel angles, tee sections, and channels. We have the necessary expertise to manipulate materials such as Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminium.

Section bending not only allows us to meet your desired shapes but also minimises wastage on projects, making it a highly efficient solution. By utilising our services, you can achieve the curved metal products you require while optimising resource utilisation.

Our current section bending capabilities include:

  • Solid flat-sided sections up to 220mm x 50mm
  • Solid diameters up to 90mm
  • Hollow sections up to 150mm x 50mm x 5mm
  • Tube diameters up to 141mm x 6mm or 168mm x 3.4mm
  • Open sections up to UPN240.

Punch and Shear

At Kloeckner Metals UK, we take pride in offering our clients a premium punch and shear processing service. Our fittings machine allows us to efficiently process flat and angled steel of different thicknesses, providing high-quality parts for construction applications.

Our punch and shear processing service offers a range of benefits, making it an ideal choice for various applications. First, it provides an economical solution, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising on quality. Second, our high production capacity ensures quick turnaround times and efficient handling of large volumes.

Third, as accuracy is a key aspect of our service, our machine allows for precise positioning, preventing any movement during the processing stage. This ensures consistently accurate results for every part produced. Fourth, our process minimises scrap material, optimising material utilisation and reducing waste.

Lastly, our punch and shear processing service ensures a clean production process. There is no generation of swarf or fumes, so the working environment remains safe and environmentally friendly. At Kloeckner Metals UK, our punch and shear processing service delivers exceptional results, combining efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness to meet the needs of various construction applications.

Our current capabilities include:

  • Processing flat steel from 50mm × 5mm up to 50mm × 25mm and angled steel from 50mm x 50mm x 5mm up to 160mm x 160mm x 12mm
  • Using our extensive stock of plate, flat bar, and angle profiles to punch and shear brackets, gussets, rectangles, and squares
