Dave Waller, Principal Consultant at TXM Consult, invited our TXM Group Brand Ambassador Jason Robinson OBE along to the Staffs Police vs West Midlands Ambulance Service Annual Quality Cup Rugby Match.
Jason met all the players, officials and coaches then watched the game from the dugout. At half-time Jason amazed all the lads by stepping up, going The Xtra Mile and taking on waterboy duties. Everyone was thrilled by the experience; it has provided much content for stories that will be told for years to come!
The Police won 41 to 29 after a well fought match. Jason stayed for photos, to chat with supporters and present the Cup and Man of the Match Awards. Dave’s son, Elliot Waller and captain of the Staffs Police was presented with the trophy.
Fundraising on the day was for DocBike (Staffs) www.docbike.org a branch set up in memory of Luke Van De Sande, a young Police Officer who tragically lost his life in an off-duty motorcycle crash.
