The first Rail Entry Talent Summit for Apprentices and Graduates will be held on 20th April at NTU’s Clifton Campus. Aimed at all rail apprentices, recent graduates and other young people who are undertaking or have recently completed a structured training programme.
The Summit:
Keynote Opening Address: Sir Terry Morgan, Chair Crossrail
Interactive sessions covering: transport planning, implementing the digital railway, improving the ‘customer experience’, project engineering from cradle to grave and more.
The summit will provide delegates with a broader understanding of the rail industry and allow ample opportunity for them to work together to discuss some key ‘hot topics’ that will impact their future careers.
Employer Networking Buffet:
The day will conclude with employers joining delegates at 3.30pm to hear from a panel of industry guest speakers and to enjoy an early buffet supper at 5pm. We are delighted to confirm that Richard Hunter, MD of Bombardier Transportation UK will be our keynote speaker at the networking session.

Delegates can book places for the full summit using our website booking system below. Employers can also book places for the guest speakers / buffet supper session below. There is a small charge of £30 plus VAT for all RFM member delegates and employers to cover food and venue costs and a charge of £40 plus VAT for non RFM members. For companies wishing to book more than 5 delegates a group booking discount of 20% will be applied. This will not show at the time of booking but will be applied to your invoice automatically.
