In January we launched our Route 2 Zero programme aimed at supporting members to get to grips with the challenges of reducing their carbon footprint – and not just carbon but other green house gases too! Our launch event in January featured a number of speakers from key clients explaining what they expect of the supply chain. This second event is an opportunity to hear directly from colleagues from a variety of suppliers about what they are doing to respond to this challenge.
Our featured suppliers this month are:
Story Contracting. Story will share their journey to date including their commitment to the Science Based Targets initiative. They have a clear plan for how they will achieve their carbon reduction targets and will provide a high-level outline of this.
TroughTec Solutions (TTS). TTS will talk about their culture, aims and ISO14001 including how they have benchmarked their current footprint and their aspirations (e.g. setting Science Based Targets, tying carbon and company values to the UN Sustainable Development Goals).
Composite Braiding. Composite Braiding will share how they have improved the manufacturing process to drastically reduce energy consumption whilst also reducing the products wider carbon footprint.
Tidyco. Tidyco will explain some of the initiatives they have taken and how these are helping their business.
Ford and Stanley. Ford and Stanley will share what they are doing as part of their recently launched Enviro-Tech brand.
Each company will speak for roughly 10 minutes about their initiatives and experience followed by the opportunity to ask questions and share thoughts and ideas aimed at helping colleagues who are grappling with what they need to do in their businesses.
The session will be hosted on Zoom and will last no longer than 60 minutes.
Bookings will close on 11th March and joining information will be issued to registered delegates on Monday 14th March.
