Loughborough-based Flotec, a trusted and leading supplier of hydraulic, pneumatic and pipeline products to industry, is celebrating both its 30th anniversary and thirty years of collaboration with international fluid power OEM, Gates Corporation.
Commencing trading in 1995, Flotec specialises in air and fluid transfer products that cover a wide variety of applications, with a focus on supplying leading and high-quality brands which have a proven record of application reliability.
Flotec supplies its products and services to many industries such as agriculture, plant, power, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and, in recent years has found substantial success in the rail market, helping train operators to reduce fleet downtime whilst improving train efficiency and performance.
It was thirty years ago that Flotec strategically partnered with Gates to become an official Gates Distributor.
Head quartered in Denver, Colorado and with an international presence, Gates Industrial Corporation, is a global leader in power transmission and fluid power products.
When explaining the collaboration with Gates, Flotec Founder and Managing Director Julian Davies, says: “Gates are a global hydraulic hose and end coupling OEM. The main driver for the collaboration was the high quality of their manufactured products which are tested far above international and industry standards, making them perform better and last much longer. This, I believe, makes them a more superior product to other alternatives available on the market.
