- New Accessibility Maps help customers understand key accessibility information
- Created using feedback from members of EMR’s Accessibility Panel
- Maps available via website, at stations or from the Customer Service Centre
East Midlands Railway (EMR) has launched new Accessibility Maps, designed to provide customers with comprehensive and easy-to-access information about station facilities across its network.
The maps outline key accessibility features at stations, including step-free access points, accessible toilets, parking facilities, and assistance services.
They were created using feedback from members of EMR’s Accessibility Panel — a group of disabled customers who regularly engage with the train company.
Customers can download the Accessibility Maps for the following locations:
- Nottingham Station Accessibility Map
- Robin Hood Line Route Accessibility Map
- EMR Network Accessibility Map
Further Accessibility Maps will be created throughout the year.
The maps are available through multiple channels including EMR’s website, through participating staffed stations and by contacting EMR’s Customer Service Centre on 03457 125678.
Philippa Cresswell, Customer Service Director at East Midlands Railway, said: “We are always looking for ways to improve our services and make the information we provide more accessible and inclusive.
“We hope these new maps will prove useful to customers in planning their journeys and will be rolling out further versions later this year.”
