Winder Phillips Associates expands wealth of experience with new Partner

WPA is delighted to announce that Joanna Davey has joined the Partnership after 20 years spent working across the wider rail industry.  Jo brings with her a variety of skills and experience from her time at four different Train Operating Companies (TOCs) and a role within GBRTT. Most recently a Director of Projects and Planning for a national intercity operator, Jo has also overseen train planning teams throughout the COVID pandemic, new timetables and major engineering blockades over the last 10 years, always with a focus on supporting front line delivery for customers and colleagues.

During her time in the industry, Jo has built up her knowledge and skills around operational planning, engineering & track access and passenger handling strategies. Her recent tenure as a Director on an Executive team for a TOC spanning three of the four countries of the UK has given her a unique perspective on the wider operation of a TOC, alongside the variety of operating models deployed in different routes and regions. Always working with external stakeholders in each role she has undertaken, Jo has built relationships with Network Rail, ORR and the Department for Transport to achieve the best outcomes for clients & customers. Underpinned by a pragmatic but robust approach to governance, processes and project management, Jo approaches each role with collaboration and positivity at the forefront.

We can’t wait to get Jo engaged on projects with our existing clients and if you think she could help with something in your world why not get in touch: Contact Us contactus@winderphillips.co.uk
