TÜV Rheinland UK On Track Plant (OTP) and On Track Machines (OTM) Team led a successful exhibition at the UK’s only outdoor rail event, Rail Live 2024. Rail Live was an immersive event, well-attended by professionals in the UK rail industry. In an outdoor setting, in the Long-Marston innovation centre visitors attended in their masses to view latest technologies in the OTP market, meet industry professionals and listen to interesting debates and panel talks.
Digital solutions
Our team was able to showcase our new state-of-the-art solutions, where we use digital software when collecting data for our inspection and testing reporting. Being able to streamline the data collection process, the UK team are able to produce timely, accurate reports in a shorter timeframe.
The exhibition booth was visited by Robert Ampomah, Chief Technology Officer at Network Rail who learned about the services the UK Rail group provide, including clearance services from D/Gauge.
Increased market presence
The UK Team also engaged in fruitful discussions about potential collaborations and partnerships and received positive feedback from industry peers. We also identified several infrastructure opportunities that have the potential to contribute significantly to our ongoing growth and success in the railway sector.
Plant Technical Manager Nicholas Sarosi said “We are extremely pleased by the quantity and quality of meetings that we had at Rail Live 2024. It was great for customers to see us, find out more about what we can offer and cement our place in the market as a leader in TIC services. Being the only assessment and certification provider exhibiting at the event, several enquiries have already been received following the event.
