Connecting Tech and Turnstiles – Work Wallet partners with Crewsight in the US

ASSA ABLOY and Work Wallet ConTech collaboration helps US jobsites manage workforce safety and compliance.

Two leading construction technology businesses Work Wallet and Crewsight have joined forces to improve safety, productivity and visibility on construction jobsites by integrating their software platforms and access control turnstiles.

Biosite, part of ASSA ABLOY, has been supporting General Contractors and jobsites in the US with its CrewSight workforce management solution since 2014. CrewSight software integrates with turnstiles at jobsite entry and exit points via worker RFID smart badges, to provide secure access control and valuable workforce data.

Now, they have partnered with SaaS health and safety software platform, Work Wallet, helping to connect tech and turnstile together and giving the US construction sector significant operative and site data advantages.

The powerful combination of pre-site and on-site access and workforce safety management means construction companies can establish a digital thread of information at both jobsite and GC level, to improve efficiency and compliance, whilst significantly reducing risk and cost inefficiencies. Real-time data is easily accessible via mobile app or desktop, to improve visibility and traceability

Before attending site, online orientation enables workers to register in advance and have their credentials validated. Biosite turnstiles and CrewSight software enable secure site access and workforce management. The addition of Work Wallet software supports effective health and safety management, with selected software modules including Online Orientation, Accident & incident Reporting, Safety Briefings, Permit to Work checks, PPE Manager, Audits & Inspections, Asset Inspections & Management and Site Diary.

John Tyrer, Head of Americas at Biosite, part of the ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions division, comments: “We want to make it easier for construction companies to access accurate, real-time data from their jobsite – or holistically at GC level – to better understand and manage their workforce and ensure they are safe, that project progress is efficient and that activity is compliant.

“The partnership with Work Wallet is an ideal add on for existing customers and the total package valuable to new customers who may not have deployed access control, workforce management or health & safety software on site, but understand the potential value. We’re excited to make this solution available to our customer base and introduce this technology collaboration to a wider audience.”

Jonny Gray, CEO at Work Wallet, adds: “This is a great health and safety software partnership helping businesses join the compliance and risk dots together, ensuring everyone is safe and compliant before stepping on site and remains so when they are on site.

“It’s an exciting proposition with one objective ensuring everything on site is simple to use, which creates better visibility and traceability for US General Contractors.”
