On 4th June 2024, Oleo International had the honour of hosting Rail Forum’s inaugural new format networking event. Under the topic of Depot Safety and technology, Oleo opened their doors to fellow members to listen to speakers from West Midlands Trains, Northern Rail and Network Rail. Expertly guided by the excellent team from Rail Forum, the event provided a perfect platform for networking and allowed members to enthusiastically engage with each other, as well as the speakers.

The event concluded with a tour around Oleo’s operations and test facilities, taking in the production/overhaul process of our side buffers, coupler capsules, buffer stops, including a peek inside the famous Oleo drop test tower.
