Flotec has partnered with an industry supplier to design and develop a portable train fleet battery charger.
First unveiled at Railtex in May of this year, the battery charger is compact, lightweight and has been designed with outstations and track sidings in mind.
Accompanying a series of fleet battery chargers for use within train maintenance depots, Flotec identified the need for a smaller, more portable version to be used in remote locations.
Often, train batteries need charging when the vehicle is away from a depot such as being parked up for a period on a track side or outstation location.
In this scenario, Flotec’s unique portable battery charger is the perfect solution.
The product can easily be carried to the trains location making it incredibly practical and versatile.
