Colleagues from TXM Group, TXM Consult, the wider Derby railway fraternity and other friends recently took on the challenge to walk round the coast of the Isle of Wight in 24 hours, a total of 67 miles! This was all done in memory of a friend of theirs who passed away last year – Allan Reeve – and also to raise money for two great causes, The Railway Children & Maggie’s Wish – Maggie is 17 and has the most aggressive form of cancer (Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma Fusion-positive) in children. Unfortunately treatment is limited and Maggie didn’t qualify for a trial drug but there are trials available in America. Maggie’s family are trying to raise enough money to send Maggie to America for the treatment.
