Parkway Signalling Ltd – one of the Rail Engineering & IT service providers is privileged to announce that it was one of the prime sponsors of a South Indian community event, held at Derby on 21st January 2023, through their inhouse parking solutions brand name called “Pay N Park”.
Pay N Park’s Founder & Managing director Mr. Shanmuga Velu, was also the lead event organiser of this event by Derby Tamil Kudumbam(DTK), a non-profit organisation and association of South Indian Tamil families living in Derby. Pongal celebrations 2023 were held at the Derby Hindu Temple and attended by Derby South MP Dame Margaret Beckett, Councillor Baggy Shanker and deputy mayor and councillor Balbir Sandhu. More than 200 people took part in this celebration event.
During the event, Mr. Shanmuga Velu honoured the MP Dame Margaret with Leadership excellence award and she gave away Community champions & People champion awards to the nominated few, sponsored by Pay N Park.
A traditional South Indian-based lunch, comprising of a three-course meal, was served on a plantain leaf and sponsored by South Indian restaurant Nalaas and community champions awards were given out
