Derby-based Tidyco, supplier of hydraulic and pneumatic products including overhaul services to the UK rail industry, has signed a partnership extension with German-based MAHLE Industrial Thermal Systems as their UK distributor.
In April, Tidyco signed an agreement with MAHLE Industrial Thermal Systems GmbH & Co. KG (part of MAHLE GmbH), appointing Tidyco as the sole UK representative for their thermal management components for the railway market.
This agreement comes off the back of the original strategic partnership, which was initially signed at the beginning of 2020, when Tidyco was originally appointed as a representative for HVAC components on a number of specific projects, after winning a contract with a major train manufacturing company for the overhaul and repair of cab HVAC units.
The new agreement is not only a testament to Tidyco’s commitment and ease of doing business but also the reliability and quality of British engineering. Paul Jacks, Tidyco Rail Director, had this to say, “This partnership extension really does go to show the amount of effort and determination put in by the Rail division team. We look forward to a long-lasting and productive working relationship with MAHLE as our overhaul department goes from strength to strength”.
