Leading UK utility and infrastructure supplier, Network Plus and specialist civil engineering consultancy XEIAD, have today announced the formation of a joint venture – NPX.
NPX has developed its offering based on the strength of Network Plus’s experience in the repair and maintenance of large-scale linear assets and XEIAD’s civil engineering expertise and ability to access any structure using rope access, diving and confined space techniques cost effectively and safely.
The joint venture’s ambition is to become the partner of choice for large infrastructure owners and managers who want to keep their infrastructure safe, reduce long-term cost of operation and lengthen the life of their assets.
The use of technology will be central to NPX’s offering. Based on decades of experience the JV are proposing to accelerate the process of digitalisation and smart data capture to cut reporting times, reduce site risks and costs. The introduction of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence will gradually help to accelerate and automate defect recognition and structural analysis. NPX’s aim to integrate the best technology and innovations available will help tailor solutions to customer’s priorities, ambitions and budgets.
Smarter asset management strategies will allow asset owners and managers to make faster, safer and better-informed decisions about asset life optimisation as well as maximising their infrastructure’s operational time for end users.
NPX will predominantly serve the needs of customers in the Transportation, Renewable, Utilities, Central and Local Government, Marine and Petrochemical Industries.
We are open for business and will welcome an opportunity to work with you.
