Rail Forum Midlands (RFM) is delighted to welcome new Patron member, MTMS.
MTMS is a specialist provider of depot maintenance offering planned preventative maintenance services to the rail and wider transport industry. They deliver the full range of engineering, chemical, consumable, paint and coatings programmes, across the private, public and third-party sectors.
Maintaining over a third of the UK’s Train Maintenance Depots, they conduct 305 quality assurance check points delivering 1608 PPM’s a year, all provided through over 30 years of engineering knowledge. Their capabilities include design and installation of carriage wash machines, CET systems, electrical, fuel and lubricating systems. Supported by control systems, software design and upgrades, integrated facilities management and remote monitoring.
On Tuesday 13 October 2020 MTMS were proud to sign the Armed Forces Covenant and are now thrilled to have been accepted as a Bronze member for the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme. They currently employ 3 ex-forces personnel and plan to be more involved with the scheme in the future.
MTMS is led by Managing Director, Malcolm Prentice MBA, FIoD. Malcolm has over 25 years rail network experience, combining rolling stock, depots and fleets, and over 45 years within major supporting industries.
