Head of EMT Media and Public Affairs, Emma Knight will leave her – long-standing – role in the rail industry, on 16.08.2019, to work for Stagecoach in the bus sector.
Emma says “it’s been the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make. After spending 21 years in the industry, I’ve made some great friends, both in EMT and in the wider industry so it will be very sad for me to say goodbye on Friday.”
Addressing her colleagues in the rail sector, Emma adds “thank you for your friendship and support and hopefully our paths with cross again at some point.”
RFM’s CEO, Elaine Clark replies “I’m really sorry to see you go – as you say it must have been a difficult decision. Bus’s gain is rail’s loss. I will miss seeing you out and about – from St P to Derby!! I wish you all the very best for the future.”
