As part of the Year of Engineering initiative, Network Rail-managed stations across the country will be distributing 50,000 activity booklets specifically designed to spark the interest of 7-11 year olds, and encourage them to consider a future career in the industry. Largely delivered by RSSB, Network Rail and RDG, and in consultation with the YoE steering group, the project was funded by individual industry organisations; Hitachi, RDG, Freightliner, GB Rail Freight, Atkins, Eurostar, Young Rail Professionals, NTAR, GWR and Network Rail.
The booklets and colouring packs will be distributed at:
